Spire is a versatile synth known for its modern sounds. Here’s how to load presets in Spire:
Loading Single Presets
- Open Spire in your DAW.
- Click the Preset Browser button, usually located near the top left of the interface.
- Use the browser to navigate preset categories or search for a specific name.
- Click a preset to load it immediately.
Loading Preset Banks (.spirepreset files)
- From the preset browser, click the Load Bank button or access the Menu and select Load Bank.
- Navigate to your preset bank file (.spirepreset) location.
- Select the bank file and click Open. This will replace the current bank with the new one.
Loading Custom Presets from ADSRSounds.com
- Download your presets and extract them if zipped.
- Individual presets have the .spirepreset extension; preset banks also use .spirepreset but contain multiple presets.
- Use the browser’s Load Preset or Load Bank functions to import them as described above.
Tips
- You can save presets or banks from Spire using the same browser menu options.
- Organize presets in folders outside Spire for easier access.
- Spire also supports drag-and-drop for loading presets — simply drag a .spirepreset file onto the plugin window.
